It might come back to bite you if you decide to sell. Happened to T's sister.
With the nonsense I do inside my house, I'd imagine that I can never sell it unless I knock it down first  [laugh]

They got really stupid about a fence that had been there for 50 years without a permit.

They couldn't remove it, and they couldn't pass papers on the house until it was resolved.

Chances are you couldn't get a demo permit until you got all the required building permits for the work you've done. ;D

I don't tend to get rid of much anyway, if I ever wanted to move I'd probably keep this house for storage  [cheeky]

You could do a private sale and use a quit claim deed with the right buyer I suppose.

MendoDave

They didn't even have building pemits here until 1974 or something.

I have no plans on going anywhere anyway. This location is fairly well located to be as safe as any place from most apocalyptic situations  [laugh]

So you kept the seat, gascap and ignition switch.  ;D

Well, actually keeping as much original as possible.

Speaking of work being done on the inside. When I started working on this place there had been a fire.

In it's current configuration there are two apartments, each rented out for a nice sum. (I took Ducpainter's advice)
Needless to say it doesn't look like that anymore.  :)

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
