You need to spend more on wifi, and less on beer. ;D

Travis....    [beer]
Mary....   I'm so very sorry about your dad's failing health and not knowing.  I hope there is some peace you can find through it all.

In other news:

Too much birthday cheer (of a friend's) last night followed by a too early impromptu brunch (no hair of the dog) with friends from the mitten state.

I won the friend lottery.  Lots of good people in my world.

But I did not win the power ball lottery yesterday.  So work I must tomorrow.   :P

In related news:  One of my dad's best old cronie friends (they're all early/mid 80's) has been playing the same lotto #'s for... forever.  Finally won a nice cool $2 mil last week.  He's taking the wife to Hawaii.

...and the rest to the grave? ;D

ha.   Maybe a little but there's already new "his and hers" vehicles (pickup and caddy) in the garage (yikes â€" maybe they can spring for a few drivers) and I don't know what all else.

I'm sure he'll buy a few rounds at their Wednesday afternoon "choir practices" at the legion for the next few weeks at least.   ;)

Evening.

Hugs to Mary.

Hi to Travis.

And I did also not win the lottery.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Look who has been returned by his abducting aliens!!!  Welcome back!
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Mother and Knight!  Wow. A Hanukkah miracle! I am not Jewish, but get the Happy Hanukkah a few times each December.   [laugh]

Talked to my (adopted) sister Karen yesterday. My dad could go any day now.  My big concern was that someone would let me know. She said she will. I can rest better now.
