Not that one.  The one you brought that just had temporary street closures due to flooding.

Three pounds of [bacon] should suffice.  [cheeky]
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Oops DM!

Evening.  I've a 2018 Ecoboost F150 from the local shop while they do some paint work on my Dodge.  After a week, I'm not convinced to run trade for one...

EverNing.

New tranny in Ranger.  Really liking it. [thumbsup]  Especially the $30 fill up as opposed to the Suburbans' $95.

What don't you like?

Good - Nice sight lines, smooth acceleration for the most part, comfortable seat, seems well built, fuel mileage is better than expected.

Bad - Jittery over rough road/pavement, downshifts are often a bit abrupt, feels a bit like a toy, brakes have a great initial bite but feel like mush afterward.  It's an XLT (should be pretty well equipped) but my 8 year old truck (SLT, Dodge equivalent to XLT) and my 8 year old truck has much nicer interior features like 110v on the dash, programmable remote full on NAV with music hard drive and such.

One thing I know that partially gives the 'toy' feel is my truck probably has about 2000lbs or more on it weight wise.

Which motor?

Did you try it in Sport mode?

My 3.5 Eco waits just a hair too long to downshift, which does give it a bit of a harsh feel. My truck handles the rough roads around here better than my 3/4 ton GMC. It didn't feel like a toy...just verging on uncontrollable. :P

I don't care about the nav and 100 BS.

This one doesn't have sport mode.  To be an XLT it's pretty lacking in options it seems, not sure if it's the base-most XLT or similar.  The jittery is like a really bad meander I guess you could say.  It's the 3.5 Eco.  It's not a bad truck, but compared to driving the other big makers (boss's Tundra, Dads Silverado, a buddys Denali), it just seems lacking and feels weird to drive.  It may be I'm just used to driving a tank and this simply isn't.  It's independent up front, mine is solid axle up front, maybe that's why the steering feels like it does to me.

Mine has the tow package. Maybe the Sport , and obviously Tow modes, come with it. I think the steering thing is the electronic rack and pinion. It's very sensitive. I'm used to it now, but it really was culture shock compared to the worm gear steering box of the GMC with soild axle.

They are definitely not tanks.
