It's a bummer, if it's terminal...but...I have a guess.

I have one last thing to check.

The way it quit doesn't make sense. The thing is locked up tight, but it didn't quit like a motor that seized.

It just stopped abruptly with no noises, no slowing down...nothing.

I pulled the head to see if I could see...anything. All looks good. It's not a roller bearing crank, so if the crank seized it would slow down before it locked up.

It was too cold to mess with it today. Saturday is looking warmer.

I'll let you know.

I feel like I was in a tryptophan coma but was merely not enough sleep followed by an abundance of fresh air and exercise.  Then the power nap.  

Was a good day â€" mostly for the wee lonely lad of mine who got to run off leash and smell and pee on a lot of things on mountain trails today.   [thumbsup]

I hope you're all well fed at this point and enjoying the day/evening!  Same to the foreigners.  ;)
