Greetings from Durango Colorado.

Pretty drive over last night.  Only one rock chip in the windshield, more big horn sheep than drivers on the road, missed a big rock slide and good tunes so overall a decent start to the work trip.  Until the work jeep (2017 w/ 37k miles) decided it didn't want to go up the last big hill.

Coasted into town though, parked it for the night.  No issues this morning but got it in to the dealer this afternoon.

I have a dozen mountain passes to get up and over the next few days.

Should have taken my '99 jeep with 297k faithful, drama-free miles.     [roll]

Oh and I slept all night.  A first in ages.  (May have been the margarita.)

Afternoon.

I did better than I thought on my last test. I was pretty sure I got around a....6. I got a 90  8)

One more to go.

Paula is gone for the week, and no way I'm cooking-Pizza is ordered!
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

EverNing.

At lunch today saw two beautiful German Shepherds locked is a Jeep, windows barely cracked. >:(

While it wasn't a notably hot day, warm enough. >:( >:(

At what point is it necessary to break the windows, take possession of the dogs, then proceed to tell the gangbangers down the block that said Jeep belongs to a white supremasist? [evil] [evil] [evil]
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

No issues getting across the multiple mtn passes.  Rock slides though shut down the highway so will get some additional time added to my already long commute home tomorrow.

Minor in the grand scheme of Colorado life lately.  jeez.

I'm Craslow-level hungry so off I go.

Enjoy your evening all!   [beer]

Howdy! What is Denver like in August? My best college friend and her kids will be driving across the country. Current plan is for to fly to Denver and then drive to Seattle with them!

My food and drink requirements are much less then that of someone else we know  [laugh] [laugh]

It does NOT matter what your food and drink intake is - JUST GET HERE!

;D [beer]

Beginning of the month, it can be toasty (90's, even 100 ish - "but it's a dry heat") with monsoon season wrapping up (brief, strong afternoon storms).

Towards the end of month, it can be more predictable and comfortable (80's but lows in the 50's .  Definitely a transitional month.

All temps given adjust 20 degrees on either end.  Anything can happen.   ;)

Soooooo when should we block off LMT time?!
