Wow, Mary, that's incredibly kind of that officer to send that!!!

Not surprised by all of his accolades of course  ;) but stoked for you that he's raising the awareness with your boss.

In other news:  I allowed myself to respond to an idiot's comment on an article in a local online news article.  I know better but when the subject of the article and this guy's comment grossly demeans women.... well, I could not not say anything.   Typically I read the comments for entertainment value.

Mary deserves a big raise!  Maybe a company motorcycle too!

Congrats [beer]

Congrats Mary.

You have an ally in Mr Troxell. If your present employer doesn't do the right thing, I'm sure Chris will point you to one that will.

[coffee] [coffee]  I was really surprised to see the email. Dealing with them is kinda like being called in by the IRS.

I tried to imagine the scenario where the IRS would send out such a letter.
I'm gonna stop before I sprain something.

Mornings come later these days.

Marlowe has been playing a lot of Cribbage with me.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

L&I is here again. A phone in complaint.  [bang]

They are going to inspect every shop.

I know. Still stings. He found a couple of things in Die Cast. One is something stupid that the Director of Manufacturing did to all the cranes. He took out the springs on the hook latch because they break and he is too cheap to replace them.

Bonuses come to us tomorrow. No fingers crossed here.

Speeddog

You can't fix stupid, nor uncooperative.
That's management's job.

No springs on crane hook latches?
WTAF, that's epic.
I'm sure L&I were super impressed, saving $3 to enable a worker to get squashed.

That letter from Troxell may have been phrased in a somewhat subtle way, but the message was not subtle at all.

This...

my only question is how to interpret the message in between the lines. I have my thoughts.
