Morning.

School starts tomorrow!

So does work-apparently I still have a job-who knew?
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I work in a jewelry fabrication shop.

Guy forges his own metal and turns it into fancy jewelry.

As he owns the shop, I'm doing all the glamorous work, like running air lines, cleaning out the water jet, and picking up cigarette butts from the side of the road.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Not in the slightest, but it pays better than any other part time gig I could find, and the hours are flexible so....

Too bad.

I don't mind working, but I have to enjoy it. Otherwise it's just work...if you catch my drift.

I've never cared if I liked work. It's just a means to an end for me.

I won't work for less than I think I'm worth. I'm not even near half of my former pay, but I won't be doing any engineering work for the guy, either.
