Give 'em hell, Stella.

No school for the kids today. District shut down amid possible exposure to Covid-19.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Stella

I sent a scathing but factual email last night to the offenders.  Got a highly unusual apology from the boss this morning.  He doesn't know I'm not done with him yet.  ha.   ;)   I'm pretty thick skinned and not overly sensitive but I met my threshold and done being bullied.

Good luck to the parents around these parts with the viruses and cooties going around.

It doesn't seem to have much effect on kids.

Their grandparents though..... :-\

Definitely the g'parents.

How's your mom??

She's doing fine-I brought the kids over for a visit on Sunday. I still putter around her house one day a week fixing whatever she wants fixed.

My brother does nothing, per usual. You'd think he'd be more vested in the home improvement aspect-she left the house to him.

Stella

Well if you're doing the work, no reason for him to.   ;)

Sorry that's the case.  I feel fortunate my siblings and I, so far, are in alignment with managing our (divorced) parents.

I'll report to the ban yourself thread now.

^   ha.    Don't ban yourself for too long.       ;)

In the ongoing "office" drama with the remote contractor buddy friend of the boss, I learned that the d-bag contractor edited my emails before he sent our chain of emails to my boss yesterday which of course made me look like I was the problem child. (I had also and sent the chain, unedited, to our COO who manages all of us.)   Besides him doing that, my boss failed to ask questions of me first before he went on his little tirade.   It's a circus, I tell ya.   Unreal.

And yet he didn't stop with his antagonistic ways with me today either.  At least boss is more aware of the antics now.
