That would have indeed been the best response for many reasons.


I just keep reminding myself that he's nothing more than a toddler 99% of the time.  It helps.  A little.   ;)

My efforts in making a change ebb and flow based on the parental needs (which have been frequent lately) and my own projects.... and and and.  ;)

Having some autonomy helps dull the pain.  If I had to be in the office every day, I wouldn't be lamenting now.  I'd be gone. 

Just quitting (tempting) w/o something lined up freaks me out.

Came to the realization yesterday: I really don't care for my job.  I'll be sticking it out as options are few for now, but I'm educating myself in a new field and hope to move on soon...

Got me arse out on the roadie this morning for 30 slow miles on rollers but felt good.

ION:  I tried to sell my place on my own but calling in the reserves to get the job done.  It's a small but mighty 1 bed/1 bath condo in a sweet location...  if anyone is interested in moving to a sleepy little town in Colorado....

Because I hate the one bar I work at, and during this pandemic I have found a niche that I can still use for another month or 3 while looking for a place I do enjoy, I pulled the trigger and quit. My last day is Tues, and then I'm mostly self employed.

The thing that freaks me out the most is the cost of tooling up, and I'll have to buy a truck if this becomes a legit thing

You can call me OddJob. Hopefully I'll actually have time to do something other than work and sleep. (I'll always make time for drinking)
