So I had to abandon my new company car at a gas station 30 miles from home this morning since something clearly went wrong with it making it unable to drive after a hike w/the pup.

Tow truck was backlogged several hours (and they don't allow riders - thanks covid).  Several uber drivers later who would allow a dog and gear brought me back home.  Before that, I coordinated w/mfg'er customer service and driver where the keys were "hidden" so they could make the "unattended pickup".

Nearly 3 hours later, (one hour past ETA), I can't reach tow driver to confirm whether they picked it up or not and the phone # for the gas station to ask them if they still see it out there "is not a working number".  

Sure hope it's still there.   I might have to abandon my dry August.    ;) [shot]

31 kms on bicycle indoor trainer done, fairly spent as today's workout was a good one . . .

pancakes, bacon, coffee, make it all better . . .

raining, so, outside working project, is on halt . . .

Had bacon & eggs for breakfast.  That's always fun.

Did a Zoom cooking class with friends in FL tonight. Both of us cooking Chicken Piccata.  Interesting and fun times.

Did some stucco work this weekend.  I'm better at it than I thought.
Bike-less Portuguese immigrant enjoying life.
