Morning.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Safe, uneventful travels Steve!


Ning all.    Worked from my friend's home in another mountain town all last week. Change of scenery and friendship (and too many beverages and good meals) was just what I needed.

The work week ended with my new boss calling me to say she had just gotten off the phone with my former boss who called her under false pretenses. He's causing all kinds of make the beast with two backsery with me in his crosshairs with the potential of a significant, negative financial impact to my company.   Whatever I did to him is unknown.

No other news to report other than the coffee is ready and moving on to conference call #2 in a few minutes.

At least according to the lawyer who handled my corporate stuff at the former gig, such things are lawsuit worthy.

To the point where if called and asked about an employee we would confirm employment dates and that is the extent of it.

I'm normally the one they single out.

The only time they didn't was when going through security the guy said "Say your first and last name, please"
"Your first and last name, please"

Just looked at me and waved me through.

I didn't really want to go on that trip.

Even though I don't travel much these days, I'm thankful that I have TSA PreCheck.  Fortunately, it's covered by the company, but if not, for $17/year it sure cuts down on the hassles.
