On bird #3 of 4.  The Covid hurdles have been the worst to navigate thus far.  Seems like every country & every airline makes up their own rules for safety.  Gets complicated…

The bureaucracy is mind numbing. I had the same experience in Cancun. Filled out forms that were never even looked at, never mind collected.

And in other news:  While my anger at the disruption that my former boss is causing has subsided (he's not worth it), the level of embarrassment of bringing unknown baggage to the job that no one has time for is still off the charts.  Corporate legal is now involved (I don't know what transpired yet) but his unwarranted and imagined issues that are impeding me (and others) fully doing my new job are unlikely going away any time soon.    [laugh] [bang]

Afternoon here on Madeira.

Best part of the nutty Covid logistics:  We had to tell the agent in Frankfurt that Madeira was open to vaccinated tourists.  He didn't bother looking anything up & waved us on.  So weird right now.

ORD is notorious for that.  I try to avoid it as much as possible when I head to the mitten, but sometimes it is unavoidable.
