Good morning all. After my doom and gloom job news yesterday, a company emailed me and I have a phone screen today!
The drive would be about 20 minutes and the pay range meets my expectations. The location is close to the area I want to buy in.
Sounds good! Best of luck Morning

Thanks everyone! They found my resume on Indeed and got in touch. The role would be located here in Buffalo, but with responsibility for EHS teams in 4 states. There would be some travel and maybe to Mexico in the future. The phone screen went well and now they are scheduling the next round with the suit in charge. It will be another phone/Teams call as he is remote.

Good morning ... Great news Mary! I'll drink one on your behalf this evening What could go wrong?
You mean with humidity and our sumptuous weather? That it doesn't dry and starts accumulating on the edge? Nah! Absolutely nothing can go wrong

Good morning. The second interview went well. Now I will have to take 2 online tests. The Watson Glazer test and the Thurstone Mental Awareness test. Every management candidate has to take them. If I get an offer and accept it, I will have to figure out dog care. There is travel to KS, WI, and Iowa involved. I would be the corporate safety person for 6 manufacturing facilities in 4 states.

Good morning Watson Glazer? That one is usually for lawyers. They do have study guides for those tests. Go Mary!

Hi all. Excited about the job prospect for you, Mary! Quality, intuitive dog sitters are tough to find by me. Hopefully easier for you there. I have so many well-educated, experienced, proven (all the required but true resume' grabbers) friends who are without jobs. 6 months... 18 months... it's clear the mental drain that has on them. Typical slowdown in Q4 but for the length of time they've been without a gig is nuts. I don't get it either. Super grateful for mine, that's for sure. In other news, I managed to steer and push both my knee scooter and a vacuum today. Hit the high spots and I'm toast. #goals

Thanks for the lead, Nate. I found a couple of places closer to the work address that I will check out too. My main issue is I will need day care that takes drop offs early. 0600 would be perfect, but 0700 would work. 0800 is way to late. I will either need a dog walker come to my place or do doggy day care, plus boarding.

I just picked that one because of the strict vax requirements. You'll work it out.
