Good morning. some asshole in my neighborhood has been blowing up money in the form of fireworks for a couple of weeks now. It is random huge booms throughout the day and night.  [bang]

The dog is on edge.

On the money front, I seem to be the bank for my family. If I give anyone of them money, I expect  to never see come back. My oldest sister is raising 5 kids outside of the foster care system. Covid hit them hard. She could not work because she had to stay home with them. No child care place would take them. They all have behavior issues. All they money I sent over the past few years could buy a new Ducati with some leftover.

Yeah, addiction wasn't part of the equation.  This person just wasn't being true to themselves.  A decade worth of lies.  We all bought it.

If we never see the $ again, it's worth it.

Side note: I reached out to the lead singer of a band from the 80's to tell her how much her music means to me.  She personally responded and thanked me.

Re: the money, I'm rethinking my original take on this.
