Thanks for offering, just another reminder about the great people on this site!  After reading Howie's thought of rather than just checking for tightness, remove and inspect the terminals I found my problem.  Rust on the battery terminals.  Probably from the wave of water a truck threw on me that nearly knocked me off the bike.  The neighbors know she works properly now.  It wasn't a lose connection but a properly tightened yet sh|tty connection
