I survived my track day, but barely.

I feel very tired and stiff, kind of like dp probably feels on a daily basis ;D

Ill do a write up with pics on my day.  It was interesting.  I got to experience a full on tank slapper at 115mph, lost the front and got it back, and almost asspacked someone because he decided to just let off the throttle out of no where.

Yay!
good fun eh?

...and for the record...

I'm much stiffer and more tired the day of the track day.   :P

The day of?

Not the day after?

Physics is different for you, huh?

Seriously...

I'm fine today.

It's usually difficult to move when I get off the bike.

...and most things are different for me...

I'm special.   ;D

indeed ;)

Im starting to feel a little looser now that I'm up and moving.

After I came in from my first session I knew my legs would be shot today.

One track session > whole day of hard street riding.

I love the track.  If I ever hit the lottery I'm building my own ;D

My worst time of the day at the track is the first session after lunch.

My legs usually start to cramp and I feel like I'm going to puke in my helmet.

Takes the rest of the day to work through it.

Yesterday was my last day this year.    :'(

I was starting to come to grips with the new ride....which is going to be a tire eater. [laugh]

It will be indoors....right?   ;D

I generally skip this session as I think the food + the tired makes people have poor judgment and mistakes get made.  Myself included so I normally just rest up during this session.

I skip no sessions..... ;)

The hp deal is fun...it's still a little intimidating though. I don't want to find out how far I can twist the throttle without spinning up the hard way.

Yeah, there's really no way to approach that line easily.

I guess you're going to have to run rubber thats less than 5 years old now [laugh]

Mornin' folks!  We're having internet problems this morning.  It's going very very slowly if it works at all.  I'm hoping they get it sorted before the ticket pre-sale at 10:00AM.  They've got 1 hour & 55 minutes!

The tires that were on it when I got it were only 3 years old.

The bike was sliding everywhere...it wasn't all that much fun.

Not big slides...those little 6-8" slides that make you nervous.

I will be running current year production tires from now on.     ;)

OK, I thought the chicane was 11 and 12.  It was in the entrance to whatever that  nasty little right-left bumped up rutted nut-buster is just before the front straight.  I ain't arguing about the guy who crashed either, but he does know a little bit more, now.   ;D
