I have one for a car.

Is it the same thing?
Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

Monsterlover

Sure.  It just uses rubber tubing to attach to the bleed screw, right?

I ran straight drag bars on my M900 a couple years ago and had to flip the clutch line because the slave side had a different angle on the fitting and I had better clearance under the bar.  I used my Mity-Vac and had it bled in about 60 seconds.

Manny

Can't you use the same machine for brake lines as well?

Ning.

Got too much work to do for a darn sunday. Need food. Need coffee.  [coffee]

Monsterlover

Yes, they're for bleeding brake and clutch systems. . .

I don't even bench bleed master cylinders (for cars) anymore.  I just install and vacuum bleed everything and it works every time.

Best invention ever for bleeding brakes

You can also inject fluid to "reverse bleed"  That does work, but I don't do it that way normally.

I thought you were going to IMOC?

I keep intending to get one. How much do they cost? Maybe I should just order one online.... My gf got a new MPL clutch slave for me to install on her bike. I love installing new toys, especially if it gives a reason to buy new tools.  ;D

That's better than mine because it has a case, which I'd love to have.  The unit is the same though.  TOTALLY worth $55.

What's IMOC?

Im off to IMTS tomorrow morning.

It's raining here.  >:(

Yesterday, I discovered that I can't put my kick stand down on my 749 with my Vertigos on.  The heel is to slippery.  Everytime I almost had it perpindicular to the ground, my heal slipped off and it snapped back up.  I had to shimmy off the bike while just balancing it with one leg and then put the kick stand down with my toe while holding the bike up right with my arms.  Thought I was going to have to turn around and go home without getting my errands done.   :-\

Now I just need to fab some sort of peg that I can grab with my heel.

Couldn't you just put a piece of skateboard griptape on the heel?
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I that was my first suggestion, but B pointed out that I would probably scratch the sh*t out of the lower fairing next to the kick stand.   :-\

What about wrapping that same grip tape around the part of the kick stand you catch with your heel?

Are you leaning the bike when you do this?  Im unclear if you got off the bike totally or stayed on it.

I have the same issue on my 675.  My trick is while sitting on the bike, I lean it to the right, into my right leg.  With my left foot, I turn my toe perpendicular to the bike and stuff my heal between the bike and the side stand.  This works pretty well for me.  Maybe give it a try?
