For Fine jobs I use house of Kolor, for the rest Spies Hecker, any recommendations [thumbsup]
I like HOK...

never used Spies, but my buddy that does my striping does and likes it.

I use HOK products except for color.

I use PPG because my supplier does a good job with it...and it's not DuPont.

Prices are going crazy.

A pint of PPG red just hit $100...my cost. :o :o :o

In general, material costs have doubled in the last three years.

My take on product is that you should use what your supplier can support, and what you like/are used to.

It's all pretty good these days.

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

The only reason I use PPG is HOK doesn't do OEM colors.

DeBeer is a Valspar company and has a great moto selection, but there's little support on the east coast.

PPG has ICI/Nexxa...but their color match is sketchy and my local supply house doesn't mix it.

I use scans and can get tints if I have to swing a color.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

made it to the office.    walking over to Dunkin in a sec to get coffee and munchies for an office meeting.   my employees just love morning office meetings where I have to point out shit done wrong.    I'll spend the walk time over thinking of some positive things too.

Good Morning.  We have our employee reviews coming up.  I get officially observed teaching tomorrow.  I hope for minimal eff ups!  Stay on topic, stick to the RC curriculum, and manage time well.

Maybe I should bring the observer a donut!

My belly hurts.  I've got candy corn & Hershey Kisses in candy corn flavor.  I really want to eat them.  It might make my belly hurt more.  It might not.  Life is full of such difficult questions.

thought of some good things to say to staff too.  unfortunately I lost about 5K this month due to missing documentation from them.    I can fix some of that before the end of the year, but it looks like 2K is gone forever.

sigh.

but mmmmmmmmmm  donut holes.  yum.   ;D
