Have a good day, guys!

Good morning to everyone else.  I'm having a slightly lazy morning.  Just getting my  [coffee] and hanging with the dogs for a bit before I head to the studio to teach.

Oh, I signed up for my first track day at Willow Springs this Saturday.  Yay!
Inara: (pissed) "What did I say to you about barging into my shuttle?"

Mal: "That it was manly and impulsive?"

Inara: "Yes, precisely. Only the exact phrase I used was 'don't'."

We had a staff meeting last night at work.  They handed out certificates of appreciation.  Each cert had your total hours taught from 29 Sept 07 to 29 Sept 08.  With over 500 hours, I had the most.  I was part time on call for 5 months of that.  Now I am regular part time, 20 to 40 hours a week.  I average 30. 

I have class #2 of the ER class tonight.  I got voice mail from my manager reminding me to bite my tongue, make notes, and fix the class next quarter when I teach it.  WHY?   >:(

Why should we coddle the old guard?  Why should I have to sit there and watch them make the beast with two backs it up by giving out misinformation and teaching skills incorrectly?  I am not good at that.
