Mornin' all!

Bear:  GREAT NEWS!!!
DP:  Heal-up quick (or at least quick for a fella with such an advanced age that is)  ;D

I got to play the 'roadie' for River this weekend at the California Superbike School (w/Keith Code).  Loading the bike, loading gear, getting fuel, checking tire pressures, etc...

How'd she do?!?  I'll let her post that up in her own words...

My take:  Much less this:  :o  Much more this:   [moto]

Everyone have a good day, and DP:  If you need any nuts/bolts/parts to get your scoot road-worthy again let me know...  (but you've already got like 10 others offering the same thing, yeah?)  ;)

I can't wait for her report.

I'm glad she's  ;D ;D

...and as far as the bike goes...

it really is just a scratch...

She's much younger than me. ;) ;)

(Late) Ning, all.

Great news, Bear!  [thumbsup]

Awesome pics, TiNi! Looks like a great ride.

Good of you to take her under your wing, Stew.

Fingers crossed on the MRI results GotDuc.

And yeah, Knight, I love it when mechanics diagnose my car with x-ray vision, too.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Yeah, she really did have a great time.  [thumbsup]  Good to hear the bike just has a scratch as you're likely pretty good at fixing such things!  8)

Yeah Obsessed?, she needed not to have to worry about anything else but riding and learning so that's where I came in to help out.

River

Morning all!

Big Bear-glad to hear the good news!

DP--REALLY sorry to hear you went down.  Glad you only suffered minor injuries.  Let me know if there's anything you need.  Oh--thanks for the PM.  Want to know what one of our exercises was?  "Relax!"  Ha!

As DuckStew already announced, he helped me out TREMENDOUSLY for my track day this past weekend.  He was amazing.  I've never done this before and being a newbie had no clue what to do or expect.  He took care of everything--got my bike prepped, loaded and unloaded, brought a ton of tools just in case, and even brought me water when I was being debriefed in between sessions on the track.  THANK YOU SO MUCH, STUART!

I will post a full report on my track day in the proper forum when I get pics uploaded and all that jazz, but I'll tell you this: it was freakin' awesome!  I was nervous as hell but loved every minute of it and would do it again in a heartbeat.  Thanks to everyone for your support and tips.

You guys & gals rock!

Have a great day!
Inara: (pissed) "What did I say to you about barging into my shuttle?"

Mal: "That it was manly and impulsive?"

Inara: "Yes, precisely. Only the exact phrase I used was 'don't'."

You're welcome River.  [thumbsup]  It was great to see you improve SO much in just one day of instruction.
