Why is everything about the drama...

a friend got us tickets to the boat show in Annapolis (powerboat show...I'm taking my Dad).

$35 tickets for VIP day.

now, my bank, the builder of our sailboat, Hinckley yachts, and a Sweedish boat builder have also offered us VIP day tickets, but I turned them down because this friend said she got them for us.

show is tomorrow.

as of 4:30 no tickets.

now, she got tickets but instead of being at will-call at the show, they are at her house an extra 40 minute drive away.

I said thank you so much, but it's not worth the extra drive at 7:30 in the morning so I'd either buy tickets or get the other guys to leave them last minute.

She's pissed and not talking to me.

best friend.

oh the drama.

These tickets cost no people anything.  The big exhibitors have a certain amount comped.  No friends are out any money.
It's also not a sold out concert type of thing.....more tickets given as needed.

It cost people a phone call.

I'm thankfull, but when a favor actually makes it harder, why be insulted when someone politely declines?

sigh.

how's everyone else doing?

Those facts are part of the perspective...

Throw a 2 1/2 year old in the back seat...

and it truly gets interesting. ;D
