Some poor bastard hit a moose on his way to work this morning on 93...
he was in his car and he got killed.
I can't imagine hitting one of those swamp cows on a bike.

T reminded me that moose are almost black...so they blend in to the road.
Their eyes don't reflect light...so you can't see them.
...and they have no natural enemies so they have no fear regarding vehicles (read stupid)

about 8 years ago I had my last road accident Broke my left ankle, collarbone and most of the fingers in my left hand. Public transport operator made illegal u-turn in front of me and I hit him on the front door. I guess you can say these things are our equivilant of a moose.
