I'm going to good with a Syed suit.  They are out of FL.  Talked to them today.  Will have no problems having it ready for mid june.

I find it wonderfully ironic that the DML (even before the VS debacle) perceived its male members to be sexist and misogynistic to the point that they encouraged the female members to participate mainly in their own section at the expense of participating on other parts of the board, while here on the DMF its the guys who can't get a word in edgewise in TOSAT.

I'm on duty today. We're anchored in Shimoda. Which is a 2 hour train trip home. But, we're not allowed to go home. And, I don't feel like rummaging around town. It's a bit rural and quiet. So, I'll spend the weekend just hanging out on board, catching up on sleep and laundry. Watching movies in my sweats. Stuff like that. It's a pain to get into tow, I have to go in my Whites, and there's not much to do that I can't wait a little while to do in the pleasure of my own home.

I just gave my deposition to the defense attorney in my case today. As far as my attorney and I can tell, it went VERY well. He tried to trip me up and confuse me, but I was able to see through his little games. Only thing is, the depo was supposed to last 90 mins not 3+ hours!. Oh well, hopefully he will go back to his client and recommend making a settlement offer...

It's good to back onshore with a beer in my hand . As some of you know I work, 7 on, 7 off, on an offshore gas and oil platform. Last week was our annual 72 hr shutdown. Do know what a"joy" it is to get up in the middle of the night, stumble down the hall, down a flight of stairs, outside to a porta-potty. Then try to get back to sleep. Everything was shut in include the sewage treatment plant. The process areas are heated by waste heat from the generators ( no gas wells = no generator = no heat ) so most areas were about 45*f . The warmest spot I found was the outside staircase between the 110 level and the 88 level on the NE corner, the emergency generator radiator and muffler are right there. That was my most important duty, the 3516 generator has a 500 gallon tank and burns about 60 gallons an hour. Every 3 hours I would top it off. A whole lot of people would be looking for me if the lights went out for lack of fuel.
