Good Morning TiNi.  Will you be warm at work today!  I am will be at Boeing in Renton.  Warm, but loud.  There is a wing training station next to the classroom so we hear rivet guns and other loud noises all the time.  TV volume goes up, then down, then up again.

What do you do for Boeing Czaja ?
I used to work as a avionics engineer at South African Airways and SR Technics before I started my own business a couple of years ago

We apparantly have some of the strictest labour laws in tha world, only reason s for immediate dismissal are drug and theft related

I should be but I'm pretty damn stubborn.  I also have to dodge the main office as the secretaries know I'll come to work when I have no business being here.  When then figure it out, they usually call a sub and make me go home    I should be there, but there's things here only I can do IMO (I might be delusional about that part though)

It`s responsibilities that force people to go to work when they should not, sometimes I wish I could take sick days, but even when I am at home I will try to do as much over the phone as possible.

It all comes back to the same thing IMO that if you don`t take pride in what you do and treat your job as if it`s your own business then you will always be unhappy in life

A good example is - I need to ship some stuff to the USA, I have phoned Fedex 4 times since 12H00 to confirm proof of payment so that they can do the pickup, 4 different people have said that they will be here at 17h00, I will be going home now without the pickup being made

It's just amazing how many people are 'busy' when I start looking for a sub to step into my middle-school computer classroom.  They hear the word "computer" and "middle school" and have something else to do.  I can't leave with a sub ~
