Thanks everyone.

It really isn't that big of a deal.

Just another fun track day experience...really.

I'm sunburned...wind burned...

and sore....and a wee bit tired too.

Talk to you all tomorrow....time for a nap.
I fixed a sticky throttle today too  [laugh]
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

Inara: (pissed) "What did I say to you about barging into my shuttle?"

Mal: "That it was manly and impulsive?"

Inara: "Yes, precisely. Only the exact phrase I used was 'don't'."

Glad to hear you're okay Nate!

It is a good thing it happened on the straight.

Are there any other locations on the track you can open the throttle wide?

Absolutely

Turn 2 to 3...

Out of 4 over the hill...

from 7 to 9...that would have been nasty...

and from 10 to 11.

It's not WOT for long in those places, but it's open wide.

This happened on the first lap so I was warming up tires and really wasn't pushing in those other areas.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
