I was thinking pizza...  Now I think I will walk over to Wahoo's.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

Evening, Nate.

Get the bike done?

Pics?

lm came real close to getting pinkslipped today.

her counterpart at work got reassigned due to budget cuts.

maybe I'm a lil pissy because wasted money hits close to home these days...... but it just irks me to no end when I hear or read about shit like this, and everytime the people in charge of budgets talk about cutbacks, they hit on the military.....police...fire...education. well here's a chance to save a lil cash.

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

I delivered it this afternoon.

I only had some of the stuff done to try and keep up with assembly.

I don't take pics of my work. It's just a hunk of painted metal on the bench.

In this particular case I couldn't post them anyway until the bike is unveiled at the museum show.

sorry about the carpet honey :-[

Back in the day I worked at a Honda/Kawi dealer doing set-up.  The building was a long narrow thing with 3 stacks of crates on each side with a long aisle in between.

We'd set up a bunch of 50s and place a crate near each end and did an oval. The floor was linoleum and you could slide the rear.

Only problem was the manager hung out at the gin mill next door. One afternoon when the bottles behind the bar were rattling excessively....

He snuck in to see three guys all wadded up at one end of the building. ;D

Good times.

Don't even start calculating how much DC spent when every emergency Dpt, FBI, "active shooter" SWAT popo, etc that leapt into action waiting for a city wide shoot out because of this poo-bag. prolly $45k a minute for all of them.

Doesn't China send the executed 's family the bill for the bullet?

Quote from: bobspapa on June 11, 2009, 10:39:24 AM
according to an article I read a while back...  we (in Cali) spend 45k a year on each inmate in lock up. (that does not include police, court and all the processing/dealing with their shit fees)

That's a far greater amount than whats spent on students (the future)

Spending that much money on people who make it a personal choice to not get along..... is f'n retarded.

And to keep a 88 year old man filled with hate go'n, especially after he just killed a guy in front of a bunch of witnesses....... that's a slap in the face to every decent person living.

I also heard a calculation that every $1 spent on education saves over $10 in crime fighting and incarceration costs later.
We can bump that up a few digits these days adding on surveillance and other pro-active anti-terror/crime costs .

Due Process. Not a bad thing.
Getting a relative's execution bill: bummer.

Hi Nate, which museum show?
It's at an event at Socrates Sculpture Park in Long Island City called Makers Market on 6/26-6/28.

The Noguchi Museum is the major sponsor.
