My audi A4 is fun and practical. I get high 20s for mpg on the highway, its a 4 door, and the turbo kicks ass. But I need to get rid of it to pay for the wedding. Want it?

why not downsize the wedding, ceremony and keep the A4??

Because the wedding is already tiny and this is what I want to do.

Sure I'll take it, and pay for your wedding.

Long as you let me do the planning for it, too  ;)

Back from the vet...Stella is okay.  They couldn't find anything wrong other than a high fever and slight dehydration.  Gave her some fluids and me some antibiotics to giver her.  Not super thrilled about the antibiotics, I don't like giving them just because she may have an infection.

Didn't get the job in Denver

... and they left this information on my VM, after 1.5 days of interviews and me flying out there.

Still don't regret leaving my previous employer though  ;D

You'll find something once you get here.

Practice the following...

"Paper or Plastic?"  and "Would you like to Super-Size that?"

[evil]

That aside, sorry about the news.  But you will find something.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

You'd be amazed.  A friend of mine works at Safeway and makes $58k / year stocking shelves.  (Not kidding, she's part of a team that goes from store to store and stages inventory.)

I'd rather go back to school / start a biz and live off savings than deal with this combative employment market.

You sold your Duc. Surely you can guilt trip her into the BMW  [evil]

The idea is that we get a commuter car for me and I get a motorcycle in the near future.

She drives a G35, so we feel like we should have 1 car that gets halfway decent gas mileage (and my commute is 20 miles each way, while her's is 4).

usually can avoid that by mouthing on the boss.
