It was great.

Lots of miles both on and off the track.

Over 2K in the van  [roll] and about 500 on the bike.

Only 2 minor crashes in 3 days and one bike that blew an oil cooler but didn't oil the track.

Weather was good... although cooler than in past years.

MI had the coldest July on record.

None...  ;D

I did notice it was taking longer to heat up by the third day though.

I think I figured out my problem from last year.

Too much?
Yeah...

I've since heard that Michelins are sensitive to as little as 1/2 lb pressure. I bought a new gauge and compared it to a gauge that had just been calibrated.

There was a guy there this week running DOT Pirellis that had too little pressure and overheated his tires. He ended up adding 4 psi because he was running Michelin pressures.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Global warming...

How about climate shift instead?

Yea, climate shift sounds about right.  We've also had a good amount of rain.  The past two summers, we had back-to-back 100-year droughts.  We were due a little rain ~

June was a total washout here.

There was rain on 22 of 30 days.

July wasn't much better.
