I forgot that getting my allergy shots is a bad idea if I'm on the verge of getting sick...the last few hours (after the shots) I've been feeling achy and bleah.

Pretty much every kind of tree, grass, and weed around, plus dust/dustmites, and some drugs.   The allergy shots have made a tremendous difference in my quality of life though.

went for a pedal ride this morning.  that was good too.  Butt still not use to seat though.  I have thick gel pad shorts too.

I actually prefer my shorts that have a bit less padding, they are more comfortable for me.

Besides the shorts, could be the positioning of the saddle, or you might try a different saddle.  Maybe when you get a chance, go back to the shop, have them put it on a trainer and then try a variety of saddles.  How long are your rides?

You sound like my fiancée...  She txt'd me to have me pick up mixer & tequila on my way in from my ride.  Her and a bunch of her girly friends are at the movies watching Sex and the City.  One of them is staying here with us, and it appears they're going to have a 'Rita afterparty
