typical for a guy  [laugh]

I actually have to thank my wife, she took care of everything.  All I had to do was put up the tree and get her a gift.   ;)

Same here.  Owen jumped up on the bed this morning!  He has not done that in a while.

We are headed to the in-laws later today for dinner and then we will spend the night.

Duck-Stew

Ok...  Um...  It had been 7 1/2 years since my last moto get-off and last night I broke that streak...  DAMMIT!

10 miles an hour between parked cars and traffic (standing still).  Went to get on the front brake and the tire was on the painted line.  Lost the front end into a parked Mercedes C300.  make the beast with two backs.  I'm sore and stiff and more pregnant dogy than usual but I'm ok.  Seriously...I'm fine.

The bike?   Well...  Headlight and fairing are toast.  Front fender's done.  RF blinker is done.  Bent the steering stop on the frame and *maybe* the handlebars....  The tank was saved from a dent because it fell on the Mercedes first and then on my leg second.

Momentary Lapse of Reason....  Dammit.

Anywho...I'm going to do light-duty housework and paperwork today and tomorrow and rest-up a bit.  My brother arrives Saturday night from SF  [thumbsup] so we can hang for a few days.  That'll help the healing as well...

I must be a biker...because the first thing I thought of as the wreckage was pulled off of me was, "Damn it!  That the very early Ducati Performance headlight fairing...  Where in the f*&k am I going to get another one of those!"  [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

I think I'll bake cookies tomorrow.  I like doing that and haven't done it in a few years.

Sorry to hear about your get-off, Stu, but glad you're okay.

And yeah, the shit that goes through your head right after something like that happens rarely makes sense to a non-moto person.  [laugh]

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.
