KnightofNi

so i learned a few things today in a very odd setting and manner

i'll start by saying that my family doens't communicate very well as is evidenced by the following info

the setting is the ICU with my dad in the bed.
the learning are
- dad had cancer and didn't tell any of us
- my dad is getting married on Nov 6
- i'm his best man
- i can hold my shit together in this type of situation*

i will rarely ask people to pray, but pick a deity and ask them to help my old man out if you would. despite what he has done, he's still a decent person and doesn't deserve to go out this way.

*i did lose it and there were a few tears. maybe even a sob when i finally got to talk to the dr without his fiance around and learned just how far he has to go.
Life, alas is very drear. Up with the glass and down with the beer!

Seriously, when i am 800years old i want to rock like Lemmy! it is a religion that requires lots of determination, drugs, and Marshall stacks.

Unfortunately dying is part of the gig.

Take it to the whining thread, you're way tougher than that.

I'm out, training day for the latest herd of snow shovelers...    [roll]
