I think forks are supposed to be straight.   [bang] (No this is not one of those eye teaser pictures)

So I'm assuming the Ebay seller rated them about 99%, ready to go?

Paula -- thanks for posting the Symphony videos -- that was splendid.

And reminded me of a whole host of orchestra jokes; some of my favorites...

Like the one about the first violin who thought it was better to play a bit sharp than out of tune.

Or the time when the first viola came home to find nothing but smoking wreckage and a neighbor who said "I have awful news -- the conductor came to your house, killed your entire family and set the place on fire. I'm so, so sorry."

"The conductor?" stammered the viola player. "The conductor came to MY house?"

Or maybe the flip side of that, when time the conductor took ill and the first violin stepped in to take his place, but then SHE got sick, so the first viola player stepped in to conduct an entire week of rehearsals. Monday morning rolled around and everyone was healthy again. Second viola turns to the first and whispers, "So where were YOU all last week?"

(My ex-wife was a viola player... and I know there's a joke in there somewhere!)

I think maybe he got hit by the gin truck

Sorry to alarm anyone...  No accidents occurred, I'm just way-frakin'-tired and sore.  We've had rain for about a week straight now and the humidity is KILLIN' my joints.  And I slept wrong.  And I hadn't had coffee yet.  And the gin was involved the night before.

I don't know how they got bent.  They are off the old duc.  Some pitting too.  My old man should be able to straighten them, need to find someone to fix the pitting.  I could try to buy a new set if I can find some, but they may be in the same condition.

LMT - Sorry to hear.  Sending good thoughts your way.

I've got a pair of Paioli forks that I just took off my monster. They're not the highest end, but they're better than Marzocchis...

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it
