Mary, Owen was really lucky to have two wonderful parents. You gave him a great life.
Prayers sent your way.

Our condo is small and the loss of Owen is felt here at home the most.  Laying down, he was 64 inches from nose to end of tail.  That is bigger then IZ!

So sorry for the loss Mary.  But as stated many times before, Owen was lucky to have such a caring person to take care of him through it all.

here's some good news.

HE WOKE UP!

it took 2 whole days and another dialysis but he did it. he was still groggy and unable to talk doue to the tube, but he was making faces at us and winking at the nurses, lol.

and i got to tell granny "i told you so"
but in a nice way.  ;D

they started feeding him through his stomach via a feeding tube and he seems to be doing well with that. we'll see what the next days bring. they ar trying to get him off the ventilator soon, but are being careful (read slow) so he doens't relapse and have trouble breathing again.

WOOT!!

i finally feel ok to leave his side, though i'm still at the hospital. lol
