Just got an update from my favorite local bar (easy walking/staggering distance our house): Tonight, Friday & Saturday Night Happy Hour Specials: Michigan Sushi, or Deep Fried Pickles. Ham, Swiss Cheese, Wrapped around a pickle, all wrapped in an Egg Roll, Fried & Served with....what for it....Ranch!

Think I might be trying to alter our dinner plans...

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

so after doing my current job for a little over 5 years i just sat through a "training" session being given by a co-worker. i had no input into this and did my best to keep quiet when she gave them the wrong information. it was painful. she really did a lot of prep and it's a shame that her presentation skills aren't quite there, but she was still giving the wrong info to people who have never done this particular part of the job before.

afterwards the people in the class came up to me and asked me to fill in the gaps and to walk them through the things that were gone over during the session.

I'm gonna promise you advancement and better conditions.

I'm actually not going to pay you at all and expect miracles every day. ;D
