I'm not a Jameson fan (although I didn't complain when I knew it was in the car bomb tonight).

Middleton is the current favorite.

Bit expensive though.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

it is most certainly not the same thing

if it's made in scotland it's scotch whisky
if it's made in ireland it's irish whiskey
if it's made in the USA it's whiskey. i forget what the rules for bourbon are though.

they all have diff characteristics and flavors.

and scotch is the best

bourbon is... minimum 50% corn? I think there's some other rules concerning the oak source, casking length, etc.

also, scotch can be single malt (only malted barley) or blended (malt and grain). irish and american (us and canada) are blends.

japan makes some absolutely shitkicker single malt whiskey, too

I have only recently started wrapping my brain around the american stuff... it was always too sweet for me. otherwise, give me a single malt any day

Back from a tour of Whiskey Row (i sure do love a town with a Whiskey Row) with AM, and no, Bushmills is NOT Scotch Whisky. But i can report from the front that Powers Irish Whiskey (The Three Swallows) will do for this very green evening.

12:40am on a Thursday.  Wiring is 90% done and the last 10% is stupid sh*t so I'm good.  It's not complete like I wanted it to be, but damn close enough...

When this guy sees his bike complete, he's going to take his pants off and throw them in a tree.  It's _that_ good.

G'night all.

Oh, and lastly...I'm sure I'll be up early draggin' my arse up and at it again powered by a modicum of will and some good  [coffee]
