How old was Larry?

My Shelby (dog) is 16. We (really my wife as I travel too much) have given up on vacations and the like to take care of her in these "twilight" days of her life. Some days are better than others, but she's still got some fire in her eyes. ;D

Only having a day and a half to spend with the wife, makes for short weekends and a bit of a neglected wife (not good ;)). So it's just been a choice made by me.

we don't really know how old he was... he just showed up one day, close to 11 years ago, at M's place.
he was a sick kitty, diagnosed with kidney disease a few months ago. we knew his time was limited, but it's still rough.

as long as shelby has fire in her eyes, she's happy :)
