Afternoon Ash!

ever got a chance to ride the VTX, but I will sooner or later. I'd like to compare it to the V-Rod I got to ride a while back.

Got a nice 110 mile ride 2-up. My form has improved it seems,  ;D and I don't think I can ride much faster in the tight stuff 2-up. I keep touching down my feet, and I've got them way back and tucked in tight. My fiancée seemed to enjoy my spirited pace  [laugh]  Not sure my tires enjoyed it, they're a bit feathered and there's less chicken strip showing  [thumbsup]

So I'm leaving the grocery store and I get out to my bike.  I hear this "hey" coming from somewhere but can't tell where.  I turn around and look and some dude in a mini van is  yelling at me.
He says, "Hey, that's an awesome Bike, (then something I couldn't understand)"
I say, "Thanks" ignoring the part I couldn't understand.
He says, "Is that (something I can't understand)"
I say, "What?"

He puts the minivan in gear and drives about 75ft to where I'm parked. He has a unkempt beard and looks likes he's probably stoned.
"Dude that's an awesome bike."
"Thanks"
"Is all that custom, all that red?"
"The frame? No that's all stock."
He looks the bike down from inside the mini van.
"Hitachi?"
"Uh, no Ducati"
"Oh, duh."  And hits his head.
"well sweet bike dude"
Puts the car into reverse and backs back into the spot 75ft away.   [roll]

No ride height adjuster?

I've brought the rear up far enough to render the kickstand almost useless.  I don't know that it can get much.  Together we're around 400lbs, so I'm not sure ride height would help a lot ~

This would be a bad time for you to hurt yourself.  You have a firewalk to perform coming up shortly.   [popcorn]
