I am 90% back to myself!

[thumbsup]

Scrolled back a couple pages, but didn't see anything.  What is going on with Pip?
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

My 8 year old sister (adopted from Guatemala) suffers from schizencephaly, and her legs are severely tweaked and misangled... today they are going to break and reset both legs, and cut and repair some tendons to try to align her legs to a position that makes walking easier, and more comfortable. This will be her 4th major surgery at just 8 years old...  :-\

I hope it all works out for her to allow her more normalcy in life. Life is tough enough as it is without such problems.

Haven't got plates for Trumpy yet...  Maybe tomorrow morning.

Pip:  All the best to her today!  ((hugs))

Oh, and thought for today:  Maybe there's a reason the present is so aptly named.

Wow, glad you made it OK, I can't believe you rode home.

I once had a systemic reaction in the allergist's office (apparently allergy shots don't mix well with a bad case of poison oak).  After the epinephrine and prednisone, I was shaking so bad I couldn't even drink a cup of water, let alone drive myself home. :-\

Ya, it was definitely interesting... I literally felt like this riding -->  [moto] only without the smile.

Feeling better this morning. Just took my morning dose of prednisone. Swelling has gone down a bit, but still tender to the touch. And red. really red.  Looks like a bad hickey.   :P

Stew, tacos were great, Miles' bike looks awesome, Rosie's running fantastically.   [thumbsup]  ;)

P.O.D.-  Sending you and your sister my best.  That's a tough thing for an 8 year old to have to endure, but her life will be better for it.

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Best to your sis, Pip -- hope all is better than well.

Glad to hear you made it home OK, Ryan! I had a bee sting send me to the ER once; I'm not particularly allergic, but I inhaled one once in the middle of a hard training interval on the bicycle and it stung me way down deep in my throat. I didn't think I needed treatment until about an hour later when I started sounding like John Lee Hooker late in his career.  8)  Good luck with the steroids!

Me, I'm kind of disappointed with the weather today -- cold, overcast with a chance of sleet moving in tomorrow. You should feel sorry for me. Except...

I'm typing this from the lodge at Snowbird, Utah. I'm thinking of blowing off today's conference sessions and getting in some spring skiing.  ;D

'Sup everybody?!?

Dude so BJ was riding... then this bee came... and BJ was like BAM!!!! and he punched the bee... then all the bee friends got pissed and he got stung... then he, with bee stings over 90% of his body and a swelling throat, went into some clinic and said "do you have any anti itch cream?" and then they stabbed him in the heart with a needle and went home....
