I think it's pretty much a go, now I just need to sneak in the tent part.

The problem isn't the tent itself, the problem is me in that I sprawl out when I sleep and will probably unintentional push her out the front.

In a regular bed, it's quite common for her to punch me in the head, at which point she says I just grunt and roll back over on my side of the bed.
I recall now of these things. You could set me on fire in my sleep and I'd not realize until the morning when I wake up dead and crispy.

Sounds like you both have figured out the work-around.  Tent should be much different

I don't think they get along all that well, more than one might be hard to sleep through.  If the fisher started piling rabbits, squirrels, cats, etc on you, that might work.
