Today is the Halloween parade at school.

All the parents come to watch their kiddies dress up in uncomfortable costumes and march through the school in 80 degree weather.    When the kids see their parents, they will immediately try to run to them, start crying, the parents try to make them stay with their class, more crying, etc...  Not the greatest idea for young children, in my humble opinion. 


On the bright side, I will be wearing a giant hot dog costume. 
They ran out of the bacon costume.

One of my co-teachers asked me why my weiner was wrinkled (I had just taken the costume out of the bag)...  I told her it was because it was cold outside!

I took most of the week off to spend it with the wife. She's putting the kid to sleep so I'm not allowed in the room because I'm a noisy oblivious klutz.
