Signed a contract today to teach at ESC, where I had my internship.  Just a class here and there, to cover vacation and off days for Eric and Norm. Even after taxes it is more then double my hourly rate at the Red Cross!

Great News, M!  [thumbsup]
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Congrats LMT!!!

Dammit!!!  After careful planning, and having EVERYTHING in place (reservations, tickets to other things that weekend, dinner reservations etc.) for the weekend.  Monster Jam (wife gave me tickets for our 1st anniversary) changed their Atlanta date  >:(

Gotta make phone calls and stuff to change everything.

In the grand scheme of things, that's pretty petty, BUT we were looking to spending the weekend of my wife's birthday in Atlanta.

I am she bought the tickets for me for our anniversary with the bonus she'd get to spend her birthday in Atlanta, go to the aquarium and hit nice restaurant or two.  It's a win-win for us both!

i don't know if i should be concerned.

i had several teammates tell me that i play keeper much better when i'm drunk. one of them is a drug and alcohol counselor.

i had a very shitty game (let in 6 goals and passed directly to an attacker on a goal kick which lead to a goal)
it's also the first time this session we havne't gone out before the game.

so is this a sign of alcoholism? am i using beer as a crutch or am i using soccer as a device to justify my drinking?

eoither way i promised i would take my medicine before the next game.
Life, alas is very drear. Up with the glass and down with the beer!
