Yup, school's pretty much closed all of January.  In fact most of Australia is pretty much closed all of January  8).  January is playtime.

Summer holidays start just before Xmas and wind up they day after Australia day - which as I'm sure you already know, is January 26th.

Of course I didn't.

Our kids get some of June, and all of July and August...returning around Labor Day with numerous breaks during the year.
