Nah they wait until winter so they can take vacation in unison with American kids  [laugh].       <<  Unwarranted sarcasm.

Yup, school's pretty much closed all of January.  In fact most of Australia is pretty much closed all of January  8).  January is playtime.
It was warranted...wiseass. :-*

I was actually wondering if they got beat out of a vacation over the Christmas season.

Awake again.

Feel like I'm sleepwalking.

We have about 1/2" of accumulation outside.  Should be sufficient to thorougly eff up the commute.  [bang]
You guys haven't figured out how to drive in snow yet?

Where are you?  There is nothing accumulating here.  Nothing falling from the sky to accumulate.

Doesn't take anything on the ground to mess up the commute.  [bang]
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. Of course I didn't.

Our kids get some of June, and all of July and August...returning around Labor Day with numerous breaks during the year.

I want to be a school kid when I grow up.
