The Bacon Junkie

I just might have forgotten to mention that it had a salvage title to the inspector...  ;)

He just looked at the Bill of Sale from the Dealer, checked to see if the numbers on the frame matched the numbers on the motor, and signed off on it.

Probably helped that he wanted to go home at 5pm, and I just happened to show up at 4:45...   [evil]

Like I said, I got lucky...  8)

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Afternoon! Picked up some carb parts at the Suzuki dealer.  For the M750.  I'll post details in my carb post in Tech, but it won't be tonight, I've got my CCW class tonight.

Ducpainter - we may have a winner.  I won't get them fitted for a 100% sure fit, but size matches.

I weighed it.  The cost and effort isn't worth the  7-8 oz I'd lose over the old stocker.  I need a new plan

That's a pain for a half pound.

Have you investigated lighter tires?

What's the bike weigh now?

Cut rear brake rotor?

I bet the under bike exhaust i want to build would save a bunch too ;)

The bike is probably around 370, maybe less.  I'm sure the exhaust is still heavy, but it was damn cheap   ;D   Can you get tire weights anywhere?  I haven't looked.  Any mods or changes are based against how many track days the cost represents, it's gotta be a pretty good benefit for me to spend the equivalent of 2 track days on it

Speaking of 999 wheel swaps...

When are you going to be up and running and able to machine me a spacer to make mine work?
