I had mixed feelings about that movie.

I really, REALLY enjoyed both of the games. It was sort of a modern noir murder mystery with a great story, and it introduced lots of gameplay mechanics that a TON of other games have either borrowed from or outright stolen.

The movie did an "okay" job of telling the story. I suppose it'll always be more interesting when you "discover" the story as you play along, but even still: there were parts of the story that made up crucial parts of the game which, of course, never made it into the movie.

Which is pretty much what happens when you make a movie out of a video game.

Still... I was hoping for more.

I got in a short ride yesterday, it was really ridiculously fun  ;D

Morning all.  A bunch of us went for a long(ish) ride yesterday.  Things got silly. 

And wouldn't you  know, it's supposed to be sunny and 80 today while we're all stuck at work.
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.
