A hundred lb stainless steel cabinet is a pregnant dog to carry across the house with a big dog underfoot.
It was even more of a pain to put up on the wall. I had it up and realized there was no turning back but I was right on the ragged edge of dropping it.

That would have sucked
indeed
having help sometimes might be a better idea but what fun is that?  [cheeky]

I suppose I could've set up the drywall lifter in the room and used that to help but that thing is a pain to move around for a two minute job

You could have set up a ledger on the wall to support it too...or some blocking on top of the counter.

there is no counter, the dishwasher will live below this and I'll create some sort of counter after the fact once I see how it all fits together and looks.
The cabinet does have a horizontal channel built into it 6 inches from the top so that it can be slipped onto a 1x4 that is mounted to the wall. The trouble was finding where the hell the 1x4 was to slip it onto when I couldn't see it.

So soon?
It's like looking in the mirror and not knowing who you're seeing.
