If your machines use air to operate remember to size your hoses to account for line loss

The lathe does but only as an air blast through the tool measurement eye to keep chips away.

And that solenoid doesn't work anyhow. :P

Maybe ill price copper.

WORKY ??? ??? 2day ???

Yup...usually only get one day off a week (mon-sun), between my two jobs.  Sometimes, no days off.

Oh well...It allows me to do what I want when I'm not working so I don't complain too much.

Oh, OK ... I think I'll get a second job, one that gives me love on a steady basis ... like, every 15 days ...

Line loss on 3/8" is about 10 psi/25 feet for reference.

Should be ok.

I have a giant two stage quincy that shuts down at 110-120psi and it's maybe 20' from all my equipment.

No actual pressure needed. Just enough to blow parts off and run the occasional air tool. So about 90.

You'll be fine with hoses. That compressor can be adjusted to put out much more if the need for more pressure arises.

Most blow guns are the OSHA type and won't put out more than 90 anyway.

I was thinking about machine requirements, so it's a non-issue.
