Gay pride parade. NY is expecting over half a million for theirs.  It seems to rain here on parade days.

SeaFair is next, at the end of July.

Morning.  Any [coffee] left?

SF Pride parade today, gorgeous sunny weather, guaranteed to be an awesome party, Dykes on Bikes lead the parade with some Ducatis in the mix, 200 floats including the famous Lusty Lady stripper pole float, Chaz Bono is grand marshal, and hundreds of thousands of folks from around the world will be celebrating.  Alas I will be missing the fun, and my friends' roof deck party... my day will be pack pack pack move move move.

It was great meeting "The Dude" at long last.   She brought us some epic beer.

Back from walking Brian for only a few blocks.  Going to be a cooker today, more so for him.
It completely saps his energy.

Great road ride yesterday with the girlfriends through the mountains along a few creeks.
Was hoping to see snoozing bears in the trees but they're never around when I am.
Not that I'm complaining.....too much.

Short walk/run after and then a big carnivorous feast and hot tubbing.

Friend stayed over and she just left.  Randimus is in the kitchen - his favorite room in the house

[thumbsup]

Pride parade in Denver was last week.  Saw a bit of it as we drove through town.  It is a very
happy parade!   :o :o :o    [thumbsup]

While riding my bicycle, I prefer to avoid bear tracks, fresh bear poo, and especially actual bears, sleeping or no...
You're a braver woman than I, Stella!

I have yet to see a wild bear.   So often, if I do a hike or a mtn bike ride, I find out the following
day that that particular trail has been closed shortly after my pass through because a bear was spotted.

I know they're watching me.....   I just want to see them.  Pretty certain one particular occasion there
was one very close.  What little hair on my arm was standing tall and I had goose bumps and knew
I had to move outta there faster than my hiking companion.   ;)

Glad you have a solid bear encounter survival plan [thumbsup]

Well, I hope you see one sometime in the wild...that's sound asleep...and far away...

We see black bears on the Great Smoky Mountains park a lot.  One even made an appearance over at Deals Gap this spring.

Let's get that fancy new ride of yours up to Walker.  Seen lots of them there.  Should still be cubs roaming.

(just one thing,  if'n we do see cubs, be sure and stay back and take good pictures while I speed away.  ;D)

good early afternoon ...

sorry for leaving all hangin' after coffee this morning but car owner's made a complaint that car was very dirty and that Gina was being taken care of when she was not riden this week due to rain all week ...

So, had to wash and vaccum car's interior... Did manage to sort of clean Gina with damp cloth and dry her ...
