It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I'm all about the pump action 12 gage myself.

Fun at a distance *and* up close :D

okay...get pist off at an inatimate object and follow it up with whacking with a bat and then shooting it and tell me which gives you greater satisfaction....bonus points if the object is a piece of technology...for me...it is the up close and personal blunt force trauma....but I can see the allure of the good ole racking of the slide and squeeze of the trigger to gain an instant gratification.

Ok, let's say you have a water mellon that's putting the moves on your (gf/bf/husband/wife/whatever)

Sure a bat is fun, but it just sort of breaks up and big pieces fall off to the side.

12 gage sends small parts in all directions.

It's like a 15' sphere of gun smoke and water mellon mist

but the bat(for example) has a vibrating resonance apon striking your blow(s) that the shotgun doesn't....it almost invites an agry bloodlust like feeling when going into a mad frenzy striking it repeatedly....

by his point, I think dolci is in the car on her way out of downtown on the way to pick me up....or at least, given the way I hear the rain smacking the building and the cracks of thunder, I hope she is...

Pffffttttt.  You just had 10 minutes of ladies track time.    (Mel, you did watch that, right?)

The 12ga also has the smell of burnt gunpowder, the incredibly invigorating recoil, and the knowledge that you can keep it up as long as you want to load shells into the magazine.  No contest
