Larry Pegram set a track record at BeaveRun. . .

55.8 :o

I run a 1:10 - 1:07 or 1:08 and that's probably an 8 or 9/10's pace (gotta leave the 1/10 to try and stay upright)

The Expert wera riders are hovering around a minute flat, for perspective.

55.8 is make the beast with two backsing fast!

On the 9 9 9?

On the 9 9 9?

I think he did it on an S1000RR.

Or you meant me. . .  that'd be on a 675

I sold the 675 a few years ago.

Currently just have the 999 and the 950smr

Who can tell me why the 1981/2 CB900C had a 2-speed final drive?

They used an engine with l/h power output in a r/h shaft chassis.

They used a jackshaft to cross over and a 2 speed unit was cheap to do.

It's really just an overdrive, I doubt many people split shifted.

So it was just a "for the hell of it" move my Honda?  I ran across one on CL and I  got curious about the 2-speed final.

I think it was probably cheaper to build a 2 speed and add it than to re-gear the transmissions

If the announcers didn't sound like they were calling NASCAR, things would be alright.

Take that long for the satellite to beam it way down to you in the southern reaches of the northern hemesphere?

We only get the Moto2 and MotoGP races, best of 125cc and absolutely no SBK ...

Best of SBK or WSBK on Tuesdays, on Speed ...
