Still fighting off flu-like crud.  Some better today.  C is worse though, so not much is happening here today.  Peak color season, so I was hoping for getting a ride in and some nice fall mountain pics.  Probably won't happen though.

Congrats Pants! Jobs are good even on the days it sucks. I really appreciate having a place to go every day.

My week to cook. Chile? Rice and beans for lunches? Pork chops and roasted beets for dinner?  I have some planning to do. 

Right now though it is  [coffee] time!

Breakfast was:

     French toast Caribbean style [with rum instead of cognac or brandy]
     [bacon] of course
     Spam
     [coffee]
     Bowl of whole wheat cereal with non-fat milk
     Bananas and Papaya ...
Forgetting something but ...

Lunch will be out, missus says she invites to either HRC or Tony Roma's ...

Dinner ... as usual today, very light, salad or sammich ...

I am tired. My  week to cook, plus we are having my friend Penni over to dinner. I used to baby sit her and her sister in the late 1980's. She is moving to Alaska  from CA and has been in Seattle for a couple of days. She has her dog and best friend with her. I hope they like pork.

Dinner is a crown pork roast, asparagus and potatoes. Lunch for the week is rice, black beans, peppers, green onions, cilantro, avocado and bacon.  Dinner for the rest of the week is soup. The soup has wild rice and a bean mix with sausage and veggies.

Plus I got all my summer clothes put away, cleaned house and did all the  laundry. Now I am too tired to visit with my dinner guests!

One of these will do nicely right about now  [drink]

Thanks for all the well wishes everybody, I'm happy to be getting back to being a productive consumer member of society again.

As for dinner, I shall roast a chicken. Not sure what else will go with it though.

everything fits in my camelback, so no checked baggage for me!

going to take a nap, shower, fish the ipod out of the car, and get my ass to the airport.  I hope it's sunny in bremerton lol
